Stay to Play Rule and Policies

• Any team whose home rink is more than 75 miles away from the tournament host rink, will be considered an out of town team, and will be required to comply with hotel policy and procedures. Required to stay at a participating hotel offered through the Alpha Tournament Company.

• Do NOT contact hotel directly! Reservations must be done through ATC Hotel Liaison.

• As a condition of acceptance into the tournament, all out of town teams MUST reserve rooms through the Alpha Tournament Company Hotel Liaison.  No exceptions. Failure to comply and/or attempts to circumvent procedures and obligations will result in the following: 

  • Fined

  • Eliminated from playoff eligibility

  • Expulsion from the tournament without refund

• Each team representative is required to contact Traveling Teams to book their rooms.

• Each hotel has their own policies, please check their websites for individual policies.

• Teams requesting lodging at the same hotel with other teams should indicate this immediately upon registering.

• All special requests will try to be accommodated but cannot be guaranteed.

• All individuals must adhere to the current city/state and property guidelines regarding Covid-19.

• Coach’s rooms will not be comped. The tournament company does not add high fees to team rooms. We secure discounted rates and share them with the entire teams.

• Information needed to request team rooms:

  • Team Name

  • Team Contact with Email and Phone Number

  • Preferred Hotel Chain

  • Team Check-In Date

  • Number of Guestrooms Each Day

  • Team Check-out Date

  • Any special requests such as staying in same hotel as another team, swimming pool, free parking, no sleeper sofas, pet friendly, etc.
